Pricing

Pricing is based on duration of audio, quality of audio and number of speakers in the recording and TAT. We do not charge any set up fee. We only charge you for the work done. Please contact us for the pricing chart.

Each file will be broken out with total number of minutes (rounded up) and all rolled into a total. Any detailed information on any file can be provided on demand.

Previously, payment was due upon receipt of completed work. But we have changed our policy to ask for an initial deposit which will be worked off as the project proceeds and ask for consequent deposits for further work. For example, an initial deposit is paid and then once transcripts arising to that value are delivered, we request that our client pay another advance to cover future work. This is because we found that many delay their payments and sometimes there are some that don't pay at all.

Since we cannot tell in advance who pays and who doesn't, we have instituted this policy. This helps to keep our prices low since paying clients do not have to subsidize non-paying customers. We also save money by not having a collection department and by not having to borrow money to pay our employees. Instead, we can concentrate on what we do best, transcription, not bill collection.
